Growing up I have always had a special connection to animals. As a teenager I volunteered at the Macomb County Animal Shelter, trained the family dogs and cared for displaced wildlife. In 2004 I began working for a Veterinary Hospital. I lived the dream of caring for hospitalized animals, tube feeding/nursing neonates and comforting families during medical emergencies. In 2012 I said goodbye to the Veterinary Field. By 2014 after completing a 400 hour grooming apprenticeship I was ready to make the transition into the art of dog grooming. Canine Design was established in December 2014 and has been growing every day!

Safety is my number one priority in the salon. Safety of your pet as well as our staff.

I'm obsessed with my hairless cat, Velvet and my Standard Poodle, Vivian.
